Penetration Testing

Penetration testing is required for testing networks and their components to avoid security threats. Knowledge of the network does not matter because the internal penetration test is conducted remotely via the Internet on the IP address, the URL specified by the client, or at the client site.

There are three aspects to this procedure:

connet Light perimeter test - testing the strength of the perimeter from a remote location.

connet Full perimeter test - verifying the security of the perimeter, the servers in the DMZ, with remote exploitation of the DMZ, and accessible internal systems.

connet Internal test - the 'trusted-insider' test, launched from inside the client's network, with internal exploitation.

Penetration Testing proactively attempts to break into your network to assess your level of security preparedness. This helps us get a hacker's eye view of the system, and it enables us to identify security holes that could be exploited by a remote attacker to compromise your network.

Generally clients in e-business, opt for this service on a periodic basis to maintain equilibrium with existing security systems. Penetration tests are standard requirements for Banks and financial institutions to comply with information security regulations, in order to conduct business online. Other users of this service include clients who open their networks to remote company users, partners and customers.

The investments that organizations make for using the efficiencies of the Internet include bandwidth, software, hardware and people. These expenses need to be protected, and customers the world over dedicates resources to do this on a regular basis. This helps them deliver the confidentiality, integrity and availability their business demands.
